Nisai (British Curriculum)
Nisai Learning (British & Special Needs)
Nisai Learning is the UK’s longest established provider of virtual education, providing students with a British curriculum through our specially developed Nisai Virtual Academy (NVA) and platform. Nisai is recognised globally for its quality and inclusivity, particularly in supporting students with additional needs through personalised and supported learning.
The program offers a diverse range of academic courses from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5, taught through scheduled, interactive lessons by qualified specialist teachers. The flexibility of Nisai allows students to study part or full-time, adapting to their current working level and specific situation. 99% of our learners have some form of barriers to learning and we create a personalised pathway to complement their needs from school to employment.
The NVA provides an holistic learning experience with extra-curricular activities and ways to socialise as learners would in a normal school. There are clubs and societies like Debate and Creativity, a student magazine and a student voice and each student is part of a house group that regularly competes for points and rewards. A sophisticated tracking system monitors attendance, behaviour and contributions for every lesson along with distance travelled and progress across the learners tenure with Nisai.
Nisai specializes in students with learning barriers such as Medical Illness, ASD, challenging behaviour or disengagement. In the UK and abroad Nisai have worked with schools, local government authorities, charities and facilities to meet their academic requirements. Considering the variety cohort of learners and the fact many would not have completed any qualifications without the NVA we have fantastic results, particularly in distance travelled.
In the UK, Nisai is officially recognised by the Government as a Post 16 provider for students with Special Educational Needs. Nisai is also Ofsted inspected ‘Good’, a GESS Education Awards Finalist in 2016 and Winner in 2015, a recipient of the Continual Professional Learning and Development Mark and the Inclusion Quality Mark, crediting the inclusivity of the Nisai Virtual Academy in 2015.
